Asking this in another location too, but wanted to ask here as well.
What I'm looking for requires custom work/addon as I can't find anything for XF that does this.
It would be connected to the AMS system.
I need to pay writers based on one of two options.
pay per views
pay per article
- We set an amount to pay per approved article.
payouts
Here's a version of this that's for WordPress. We didn't use this, but we had a custom setup just like it (less features, more simple).
Addons Premium Bundle - Post Pay Counter - that has a ton of features, but most of them we don't need. We just want the simple stats.

- We set a pay rate per 1000 unique views, a bonus rate after X amount of views, and we set it to accept only traffic from certain countries while not counting traffic from countries where we can't convert ads.
- We tap into Google Analytics API to get the stats.
pay per article
- We set an amount to pay per approved article.
payouts
- We set a minimum user must earn to get paid and a waiting period. Example, $50 and writers must wait 7 days until payments are released. That gives me time to verify stats if anything looks odd.
- Writers see history of payments received and pending payments.
- Admin has history of payments sent and what's owed/pending.
