Gravatar has an optional "rating" parameter that you can pass with either G, PG, R or X to set a max rating for avatars that display, if the user's avatar goes above that rating it'll fallback to the default, if this parameter isn't passed it'll default to "G". I figure some people may want to change this depending on their community.
