I think we could keep the postbit nice and clean/sleek with should only contain the user's avatar and username. If you are interested any further than that in the user view it's member card. There should be where the status of the user is Check out the image.

Nope... if one has to click on something to found out what the online status is of one's Friends (or Followers?) then it's no good. You have to be aware of the status of your Friends instantly. I agree that the postbit should be as clean as possible (but what harm can a little online indicator do?)... that is why I am already not really liking (no offense and with a due respect) that I see people constructing their own 'trophies' and other details as custom images in their signature. Images in signatures always are a BIG distraction from the contents of the posting. Brrrrrr....

I'm not liking the sig images either. It shows that, though many might profess a want for simple postbits, they also want the postbit to tell everyone how many "likes" and "trophies" that they have.

It is just the latest **in-thing** people have realized how simple it is to have this customizable signature image and it has kicked off...

Personally every site needs some flair, and I think on my site I will be putting the likes and trophies in the post bit...

I would like online / offline text somewhere in the users postbit.

Also user albums would be nice.

That is configurable in the ACP for each style.
