Duplicate One click upgrades

As many of you will be aware, WordPress have just released 3.3 and as with pretty much all of their updates all you have to do is hit a button and you're bang up to date. I'm not really sure how it works, but could it be something XenForo could have? I have just uploaded the upgrade package to my site and it has taken me a good half an hour to do it through FTP.

Clearly I know nothing about how it updates or anything, and WordPress is free so there would be no need to check if the user holds a valid license but could it be done?
