Solution P P Paul B Dec 15, 2022 Yes, you can just do a manual upload of the files and navigate to /install until you resolve the file ownership issue.

P Paul B XenForo moderator Staff member Dec 15, 2022 #2 All of the files on the server need to be writable/owned by the PHP/web server user. If you aren't sure how to do that, you will need to contact your host as it requires server level changes. Upvote 0 Downvote
