Lack of interest On media page, Description of 300 characters below Title

On the main media page showing all the images, it should have below details:

Below the title of image, we should have option to display description of some 300 characters. So that it will be useful for users to read the partial details of the image before clicking it.

And should have "Read More" button below, so that once user clicks the read more the image opens same as clicking on image.

This is one of the good improvements i would expect.

You can already display the description on the list of media by enabling the style property for it in Admin CP > Appearance > Style Properties > XFMG Thumbnail Elements.

The description will appear shorter due to some CSS that forces the description to display on a single line and overflow to ellipsis.

That could be easily overridden with some simple CSS, though allowing the display of the full description would likely look very messy and cluttered.

Can we increase the description characters length from 300 to custom characters length while uploading a media?
 
Yes you can adjust the max title length and max description length in the Gallery Options in the Admin CP.
