This is a strange one.
On one forum I visit (I am not a moderator or anything), I do not get new reply alerts for a watched thread, even though it is shown that I am watching it. I have unwatched and watched it again, with no change.
On a forum I am admin for, I just got a note today that many people in one particular thread are not getting the reply alerts for that thread. So it's not just one person having the issue.
I don't know what is behind the "mechanism" that triggers the alert, but, has anyone seen the same issue on their forums, or come across it while visiting others? I don't even know if it can be fixed, other than copying the thread to a new one and having everyone re-watch it.
