For example these's only 5 users above and it says "members: 10" is there a setting to show all of these users online?

Some of them may be hidden.
You need the bypass privacy permission to see them.

This has been selected, which is weird.

Did you run the query? All that does is hide the option (which is still completely able to be modified by anyone with some know how).

    UPDATE xf_user
    SET visible = 1

That's the query I ran via phpMyAdmin, nothing seemed to update :/

Run the query again. phpMyAdmin should tell you how many rows it has changed.

Yeah I redid and it seemed to work, now all my users look to be online. Can usergroup upgrades automatically change your online status? I'm not sure how so many users changed their online status.

    No, they cannot.

Hmm, for some reason people are still automatically becoming invisible? The options been removed and I know there's a way around this but I doubt 10+ people are competent enough to do this.
