XF 1.2 None vs. Transparent

    Are they essentially the same thing?

    For example:
    border: 1px solid transparent;
    border: 1px solid none;

    Not really.

    Difference can be easily viewed if you can increase the border width to 10px+. transparent will still take the space of the border but none will not take the extra space.

    Which I don't plan on doing, so using transparent is probably fine. :)

    border: none;
    is essentially enough.

    I always set border: 0 none; just to make sure nothing is set.
