XF 1.5 No Way This Permissions is Bug, Right?

I can't figure this out. The analyze tool says he can get in, but he can't get it. The problem, as usual, is Sam Carter:












Why can't Sam Carter get into announcements?

How can I fix this? I need him in there but no where else.

They certainly seem to have valid access to the Announcements node itself. So that seems correct.

However, run the Permissions Analyzer again, this time on the Global Permissions tab. Show us a screenshot of that, specifically the "View" permission (this is different to the View Node permission).

Yes, the general View permission is required to access the site; without that the member won't be able to access anything.
