As designed No version field for "Developer" role

"Developer" role user cannot edit the version number field of his own resource, because this field just does not appear for him.

Please, fix that.

If the resource team member is not a moderator then they may have fewer permissions.

Generally we do not allow a Resource version number to be modified via the Edit resource page if the last update was over 24 hours ago. At this point releasing a new version entirely is the best course of action.

Moderators with the "edit any" permission can bypass this which may be why you're seeing a difference in behaviour.
