no default avatar for deleted user ?

I had to delete a user per his request, so when clicking onto that user-avatar it shows the Error-popup saying "this member could not be found..."
The Forum-posts of that user are still available and showing up in the Forum.


I have been "following" this user and this user is still in my "Following" list.
But when I go to "Your Newsfeed", this user is not showing the default Avatar anymore, it is just showing a blank white-colored field as his Avatar.

Is this normal ? It looks kinda strange to see an Avatar being totally blank....

please check if this is a bug or if it is intended.

It is quite possible that this will happen there, mostly because the news feed is heavily cached.
