Default Avatar for New Users?

When I edit some of my users, the avatar field is blank - shows a "?". But these same people are showing a graphic/photo, all the same one. Where/how is this configured? I assume

Default avatar is located in

styles\[your style name]\xenforo\avatars

and you can change it with your own

I would prefer no avatar by default as a reminder to people that they ought to pick their own.

You could use a service like Robohash ( https://robohash.org/ ) or similar to automatically give each user a unique avatar.
