I joined the forum with my typical forum email address.

After reading & deciding to buy, I bought with my paypal e-address, which is different than my forum e-address.

I installed and configured & themed & then got busy with a new job and left the forum alone.

Now I can't login & get a reCaptcha error & when I try to ask for help it says:

XenForo - Error
No customer could be found with that email address.

What's the deal?
 
Is this a recent purchase or one from a while ago?

There is a license linked to this forum account but it was purchased quite a while ago.

If that is correct, if it helps, the email seems to be an @gmail.com address.

Your customer account seems there and fine to me, are you sure you are using the correct email to log in? Forum and customer accounts are separate.

Yes, I am trying to use my gmail (paypal) addy for download vs my forum addy (to chat).
 
You have three separate and unconnected user names and passwords:
1. Your own forum
2. Your XF customer account
3. This forum

Ensure you use the correct one in each case.

Yes, I had problems with that & just wrote them all down in my PW book (kept in my gun safe).

Thx for the help, too - I was able to DL the XenForo 1.5.15 update & upload via FTP, ran the update and got the upgrade confirmation & accessed my admin dashboard !!!!!! :love:


My first goal was to update my PW, so I clicked LIST ALL USERS - but I am getting errors.

Should I post them here - or should we go to PM's?
