XF 1.1 nginx+phpfpm cannot login to ACP

Everything seems to work but I cannot login to the ACP, keeps reloading the login page, anyone met this problem and solved it?

P.S. I'm experienced managing servers but i'm quite new to nginx, any help would appreciated.

No errors? Normally a failed admin login would give you one of these errors which are self-explanatory:

Your account does not have admin privileges.

Incorrect password. Please try again.

It is strictly nginx related, i have the same site accessible on apache and on nginx using 2 different IP addresses. The ACP access problem is only on nginx. I did a search and seems someone met this problem before, but no one wrote about a solution.

sounds like a cookie-issue to me, in this case acp just reloads with no further info. I guess you try to access both IPs from the same browser?

I had the same idea at the start, but cleaning cache+cookies or use another browser didn't change anything.
