New webserver Server setup

So I just got a new dedicated server and I was wondering which direction I should go to setup my webserver.

    I was leaning toward nginx.

Also anyone familiar with winginx (http://winginx.com/en/)? Would that be okay or is more for just dev purposes?

Note: This is going on a gaming server and the only thing as far as website stuff goes that will be on it, will just be my currently xenforo forum and that is it, no other sites. It will also be serving up files for downloads.

Any help would be greatly appreciate (tutorials would be even better).

Also note that this will be my first time setting something like this up from scratch, I'm used to doing everything from cpanel and whatnot.

I would not use nginx & lighttpd in windows for productions server.

For windows server I would suggest IIS or Apache.
