XF 2.2 MySQL full text minimum word length - now with less than 4 characters?

Hi,

Has anything change with searching the minimum word length? I don't use ES, but I just noticed today I can search for words with less than 4 characters. Not sure when this change actually happened, but I know I haven't changed anything.

I do have this setting:



But this was not working due to limitations. Now it is suddenly working and this is great! Was there any change with MySQL full-text search or my host updated it?

I can't find anything about that.

You would need to ask your host.

We have no idea how your server is set up and whether any changes were made.

Yes, actually my host updated MariaDB and now search works with less than 4 characters. Great!
