Do I need to export/import anything from my database in order to upgrade my current XF-installation towards version MySQL 5.7 ?
Or is it fine if my hosting-provider is just switching to this newer MySQL 5.7 version ?

I would take a back up of course but apart from that it should be a fairly simple process.
