Hello,
I plan to move from mybb to xenForo. The current forum has over 220000 posts and 51000 users.

1. Is the importing script working with that many posts? (about 2GB DB size)
2. Does it also import the attachments/images?
3. My current post URLs looks like that: https://forum.com/thread-123456.html. Can I redirect the old URLs to the new?

The search results were not very clear about a blog/news feature:
4. Does xenForo come with a news feature and portal?
5. If not, what are the common used plugins?

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) I guess with rewrites in htaccess
4) Not as standard, but there are some plugins.
5) XenPorta, AMS by Bob - it depends on what you want.

Starting with XF 2.2 you can very easily create your own portal using article forums:

So I can set the thread type to article and the display type to preview for a specific form. This will be the Portal with the news?

And I can set the Portal as index page?

If what you mean by portal is a list of news/articles pulling from a specific forum then, yes.

You can also use the widget system to flesh the page out with more information as needed.

And yes you can set any page as the index page.

Point 3, the rewrite rules make me scared.
Does somebody know more about that topic, or have the same environment and ready rules for it?

I forgot. At the moment we have the news in a WordPress blog.
Can I import the WordPress posts to xf articles?
