My wish list for Xenforo

These are my wish list for Xenforo, I am ready to buy one around next month but if Xenforo gets enhanced this way, I am also ready to convert my main big vb forum to Xenforo.

Vbulletin has ceased to listen to their customer's wish list and they create their software as they like. If you have a wish list, they tell you to ask to hire a freelancer to code it when it should be in the main software so it appeals to customers. The main idea behind forums, is social network. If you create the needed and advance tools, it will become better and better. I really believe if Xenforo listens and not ignoring these ideas, you will be ahead in the competition.

Inbox System:
I'd really like to see Xenforo renovate the Inbox system and to be more styled and work like FB. Freelancer.com attempted to create one like FB but it wasn't as smooth as FB. But you see how when you scroll up and down on messages, things look, how pagination looks and auto load with scroll works. Things like that.

Creating Clubs/Social Groups.
I don't think there is a system yet for this on Xenforo but I'd like to see when it happens to have a lot more customization yet look simple. Vbulletin social groups looks really ugly. A creative social group which looks simple yet with good customization like cover image, avatar etc.. is Google+ Group.

Example (don't have a background image though, though you can implement its feature like the G+ profile or FB profile)
https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities
https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/107675786958000664089

Profile Renovation.
The current profile look, is nice but it looks like any other forum software, even similar to VBulletin. This is something new and I'd like to see it implanted, Avatar or profile picture over a background image. And start to create nice interface for when uploading a background image, you can reposition the image and you can crop the pic and pick a specific size.

On my private beta profile, I've did it and it looks great. I am sure it should also be easy for Xenforo to do it.

Example: (as you can see the style is really nice) I've always wondered why can't forum software come up with a default look that looks professional, innovative, and simple, not general!

Profile Albums are missing. I'd like to see the albums integrated with a new interface, something similar to G+ or the new Myspace and how you can comment on each photo on the right side.

Txt Editor:
I'd like to see Xenforo implement the new CKEditor 4.x. Vb 5.0 has implemented and it looks nice and works nice.

Profile Settings Redesign
Redesign the privacy pages, settings etc.. ex

It is getting old the way the design works where you have to check or uncheck mark. Why not implement a yes/no setting

A better interface, we are in 2013 now, things should advance!

Things that are missing on Xenforo is a detailed Admin interface like User Rank, User Groups to work like vb or similar, several features are missing.

If these ideas are implements and implemented right with a good design, I have no doubt that Xenforo would be ahead as a forum software. Because neither Vbulletin, or IPB attempted this.

Please don't follow the cycle of new versions like Vbulletin, like when they finished version 3.x, they started version 4.x and it was the same ideas, nothing really major and then again, version 5.x is the same as 4.x but even worst. Each version should advances with new features and not attempt to redesign the entire features with minor editions and call it a new version. I never liked this when VB did that.

Now you have an idea of what I looking for in a forum software :)

The Private Conversation system is fine the way it is now. It's designed to work like Facebook, or act like Google's mail conversation style.

I don't like it! it doesn't feel like inbox to me but threads and reply to threads.
At least it's on the same page, and not like singular posts, like the PM system in vB3. (y)

BTW, I don't think a "scrollable" inbox would fit nicely for a forum software, since that would mean that the person viewing it would have to install something like JavaScript. Or xenforo staff puts javascript right into the whole system itself. FB does it because they have their own in-house controller that allows for such scrollable inbox.

I like these "On / Off" buttons for the "User Interface" at the Frontend.
I really don't care how the checkboxes look at the ACP-interface.

This looks very easy and intuitive for the user.....

there are already lots of suggestions regarding the "Inbox".... and also for the other stuff you have mentioned.

The existing system stinks. Many of us need the ability to create a means to organize and search our messages. Dumping it all into one container makes for a very messy inbox that's impossible to find stuff in.

The switch is just a simple boolean on/off switch, just like a checkbox option. Why wouldn't it work for forum software?
They wouldn't work in the context of permissions which was made in the first post. Permissions have 3 settings for users/groups ( Not Set(No), Allow and Never) and 4 for nodes (Inherit, Allow, Revoke and Deny).

Obviously they wouldn't work for radio buttons but, as I said, for checkboxes it is just a boolean.
