Multiple imports question

Hi,

I have to migrate a forum from vB to xF and thankfully there is a xf_import_log table that stores the old/new IDs. My question is this: if I do another import (from another forum), will this table stay as is and be populated with new ID couples or will it be truncated or renamed?
I wish the table be either renamed or have a new column that could be an unique import identifier so I can keep track of which IDs relate to which import.
