Multi-column public navigation drop downs?

I don't know if there is an add-on to do this but if you go to my forum at https://rvforums.com and click General in the public navigation at the top you just get a long list of forums. When screen width allows I think it would be better to use a multi-column layout to show all info at once without having to scroll down using sections and content in columns. Anyone know how to do this or if there is an add-on available to do so?
