Moving users to a new skin/style

    Hello,

When we first set up our forum, we used the default style. Now we realize that we want to set up a new style. However, all of our current users are set up to use the default style, so there is bound to be a huge amount of confusion if some people switch over to the new style and some don't.

Is there a way to move all of the current users over to a new style?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. If there aren't any, we can always move the users over one by one through the ACP because there aren't many yet, but it's a step I'd like to skip.

Create the new style and disable the old style.

Click on the style name and uncheck Allow user selection.

When at http://yoururl.com/admin.php?styles/, you should be able to disallow user selection of all styles but the one you're using. Set your new style to the default style and disable all others using the checkboxes there. Should do the trick.

EDIT: Brogan beat me to it

Before I had only the first Default Style.

    Now I'm on 1.3 and I have:

    Default Style (not selectable)
    Default Style EDIT (not selectable)
    Style (selectable)

but I've some users (~20 out of ~6000) that use the first Default Style, how can be possible?
I'm going to set them manually.
