Not a bug Moving topics doesn't work

When I'm trying to move a topic by selecting it and pressing one of the two arrows, the overflow box moves in the right direction, but the topic itself doesn't.

That's not what that is for...

Are you talking about changing the order of topics? That can't be done. They'll always be in the order of last post date.

The move up and move down buttons you're referring to move the focus of selection to the next checkbox. This potentially makes selecting large numbers of threads easier because after the focus has moved to the next thread you can just tap space to select it.

Ah that explains ;-)
What would you suggest to move topics to the end of a forum, for example after merging old threads? Is there something like a "reverse sticky"?

No there's nothing like that, unfortunately.

Though if you do want it buried, you could just close it. If no replies are added it's only going to move in one direction
