XF 1.2 Moving over previous version data

I posted this asking about moving modifications between sytems. No traction there, so I'm wondering if someone can provide some tips here. How do you figure out which files contain information to transfer over? Any examples (does not need to be TMS specific, I just need an idea of the process for identifying content)?

That really is a question for the add-on, as you rightly surmised by posting there first.

If there is no export function then you will need to manually create the edits for the new core TM system.

Actually I decided to stay with Guiltar's TMS, so I'm not trying to port TMS modifications to TM (core) modifications. I need to figure out which 1.1.2 files contain the TMS modifications so I can move them from 1.1.2 to 1.2 (still TMS) to experiment in the test forum.

I feel that the older TMS has a bit more flexibility than the new TM (core). Maybe I'll change my mind after more playing around. I'm not enamoured with the TM (core) requirement for debug mode since the old TMS works so well.

Thanks for the reply Brogan. I do appreciate more functionality being added to the core package since it eliminates a lot of issues if an addon creater fades from the scene (ragtek is one example).

You need to upgrade addon as usually. Mods should be imported to core TM
