Moving of vB Mod Contents to xF (Core)

Hi There

Now that 1.1. will soon be released, I'm really looking forward to move my community fo xF. Now, I've read that the conversion of the Thread Prefixes will work more or less, which is fine for me. And I really hope that the same holds for the custom user fields.

But I have some other small mods on my vB which I really like to convert to xF. Arcade is one, but that has time. More important to me are the following:

• Thank you Mod: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=231666 - What this Mod do is the "like" of xenForo. And my users really like that. My question is: Is there any possibility to convert the existing "Thanks" to "likes"? This would be very important.
• Auto Media Embedder: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=202476 - Yeah, guess what it does. Actually I've seen that xF has the same functionality. But: What happens to the already existing content?

I really appreciate any help on this.

I'm not aware of an add-on which will import thanks.

If the current embedded media uses the same BB Code then it will display correctly.
I don't use vB or know the format of the tags so I can't confirm that.

You can however add/edit the current media formats in XenForo to match.

It should work onwards up until 1.0.x I thinkt I tested it somewhere between 1.0.x - 1.0.2

When I imported my pre-existing vB4 database to xenForo, all of the content that had videos in them were converted automatically.

This struck me as odd, I had not heard of xenforo being able to convert vB4's video code to xenForo's own video code.

Is there a 'better' replace addon? The reason is that I've get a timeout most probably due to the fact that the ame Tag has been heavely used and we have > 500'000 Posts.. or should I do that directly in the database?

yea, just run a query

something like

update xf_post set message = replace(message,'[tag]','')

if memory serves me right without checking the xf db structure.
