XF 2.2 Moving and upgrading Xenforo

Hi.

I'm having to move to a new server and start installation of php/mySQL etc from scratch - not a problem. As there is going to be downtime and disruption, I'm looking to upgrade from my current version 1.5.13 to the latest Xenforo.

What is the recommended method for doing this? As far as I can see, I have the following options:

1. Migrate entire 1.5 installation and then upgrade to 2.2 on the new server
2. Upgrade to 2.2 in situ then migrate to the new server
3. Install 2.2 on the new server and export/import data from 1.5 to 2.2

1 or 2, not 3.

The choice is yours - the end result will be the same.
If the new server is better specced, do the upgrade there as it will be slightly faster.
