XF 2.0 Moderators have lost privledges

All but the super admin (me) have lost the ability to approve posts. Analyzing their permissions shows they should have the ability. I've uninstalled the most recent addons I've installed since this has occurred.

What now?

When you say that they have lost the ability, what do you mean? Has the Approval queue disappeared from the Moderator dropdown menu? Or something else?

When analysing permissions, did you also analyse node permissions for moderators? If not then check them as they could be overriding group or individual permissions.

If none of that sheds any light, you'll need to post more detail about what has happened - when they had this permission and exactly what changed between that and you discovering they no longer had the permission.

Approval queue is not there, and when I analyze permissions it shows they do have permissions set allow approval of posts.

Do they have any staff bar at the top?

If not, then presumably they are not flagged as actual moderators. They need to be defined as such in the "moderators" section of the control panel. (If they are there, then I could only guess that an add-on interfered. If viable, removing them and re-adding them should resolve the issue.)

Figured it out. Not sure if it's a XF permission, or one from an addon ... but the permission to "view unapproved posts" wasn't set to yes. I'm not sure why the permission exists? I would have thought "approve/unapprove threads/posts" would have been enough.

If a mod has permission to approval posts, I would expect them to be able to view them in the queue. I'm sure there a good reason, but can't figure it out.
