Missing items in recent-activity stream

Hello,

I use X.F. 1.3 and media gallery. Everything works fine, with one exception.

Authenticated users can not add media (mostly youtube videos) to the gallery but they can write comments.
Today I found out that authenticated users can not see gallery comments in the activity stream.

However, admins can see new gallery comments in the activity-stream. So this looks like a permission problem, but both user groups have permissions to add and view comments.

Is there an additional setting for the activity stream?

Aside from the permissions you have checked, the comments will only display if you have permission to view the category or album that the image is in.

I have just done a test here, and it works fine, viewing Recent Activity as a guest:
