Not a bug Meta Descriptions Contain New Line Characters

It seems like meta descriptions are being pulled straight from the thread description without any new line characters being removed etc, which is causing the meta descriptions to look a little weird. Is this intentional or just something that wasn't taken into account?

I've looked into replacing new line characters myself in a template modification but it seems to detect "\n" characters literally, instead of as a new line, so they aren't getting removed as you would expect them to.

This isn't really invalid nor unexpected. In many applications, the line breaks are probably a net benefit over stripping them for context and legibility.
