XF 2.1 Members not being promoted automatically

I have members that have been active and they are not being promoted? I did Rebuild the Promotion cache but that did not work?
I have 2.2 installed.

Are you sure you have the correct options for the promotion set? Do you have any addons installed that could be causing this?

I only have 2 addons Xenporta and s9e media sites and I do not think they would have anything to do with it? All my users were imported from my old VB forum maybe that is the issue?

I doubt it. Like I said, are you sure you have the correct options set for the promotion? Can you show us what you have them set as?

Your user group option isn't selected, thats why its not working. You have to select which usergroup to promote to the next.

You need to select which existing usergroup you want to promote when they reach the criteria. So you need to select the checkbox next to where it says "User is a member of any of the selected user groups:" and then click on the usergroup you want to promote. Also you need to make sure that you have the correct settings in the promotion options tab.

This is an example of what our user promotion settings look like to allow members to have access to your buy/sell section in our forum.

Ok, thank you. All my users that have not been upgraded are in a group called New User and I do not have any user group by that name and it's not in that box to select either, does this matter?

Yes that matters. Go into your admin control panel and go to user groups and post the screenshot of your user groups listed.

At this point as long as you have active support, I would create a ticket and have one of the developers log into your forum with admin credentials and have them figure out what has to be done to fix this.

It sounds like you're getting confused.

That field is for matching criteria, not the user group to promote members into.

That group is selected on the Promotion options page.

That is a title, not a user group.
All members are in the Registered user group by default.

It's the first tab.
Select the user group you want members to be promoted to on that page.

How many users do you have to change? Access the user Matt under users in the admin cp. You should see a screen like this.

What does it show as his user group where its circled in red? Everyone's primary user group should be set to registered. This is the user group you want to select where it says "apply this promotion while" section under user group. Do you know what user group you want to promote them into once they hit the criteria? If so thats what you enter in the section labeled "promotion options".
