Media Navigation Question

I am trying to figure out where I can change the navigation to where it will be expanded instead of defaulted to collapsed. Thank you

The navigation is only collapsed by default on small devices, but that is intentional. This is the standard "side nav" system that is used in various places within XF. Changing that would likely require fairly significant CSS changes.

I came to ask this same question, and the above does not match my experience even here at xenforo.com

Has this changed? I've tried testing different browsers for potential issues, but this is the same on both FireFox and Chrome.
