MassAlert - Send custom alerts [Deleted]

Hi @Luke Foreman, I just purchased and installed this addon, but I can't seem to locate the permission setting for a non-Super Administrators. It works fine if I am logged in as a Super-Admin, but the "Can send MassAlerts" is not in the permissions list. Is this some kind of glitch?

Thanks in advance!

Is it possible you are looking at the wrong permissions section? You should be in ACP > Users > Administrators

You were right - I was in the wrong spot. Thanks for the prompt reply. I need help with another one of your plugins, so hopefully I'm overlooking something simple there as well!

@Luke Foreman I got this server error last Friday.

Normally as a one-off/rare error this indicates a period of high load or other server issue, but please let me know if it continues

I have a few suggestions/questions. Would you be able to add the ability to send alerts to users from the main forum? For example, administrators with permission can send users alerts from the member pop up card, beside "follow" it could say "send alert":
image.webp

Or perhaps from the members profile, under 'Moderation Tools':
image.webp

I think this would be a nice addition, and would be very helpful for me and my admins :)

I can second this:

Almost like a "poke" feature. Would love this added!

@Luke Foreman could this add-on take custom fields into account as a criteria for sending the alerts?
Example: On my forums the users may opt-out of regular communications from the forum thru a check-box custom field. Without taking this field into consideration, I'd be sending the alerts to everyone instead of those who chose to receive it.
Thanks. :)

Working perfect.
Would be great if in the future you can send alerts just to certain users.
you must be think.. why not use conversations instead? easy. because sometimes you just want to send some alert. you don't want to start a conversation with that user.
Great addon, keep it updated! (y)

Firstly, thank you for your that nice add-on @Luke F
I bought your plugin but we have about 2.5million members so if i select the registered users and send mass alerts, database will be forced and we will have unnecessary records in database. (Every mass alerts will be add 2.5million record to xf_user_alert table right ?

So, Can you please modify the plugin for select some criterias on sending page like registered date range, last activity range etc.
I want to send the alerts only members which online in last 3 months?

Thanks.

This is all built-in XenForo functionality now.
