XF 2.1 Mass edit Preferences

I'm looking to mass edit members Preferences to Automatically watch content with email, it's going take me till Christmas to update them all

Any help will be much appreciated!

You can use an SQL query but really, I wouldn't be impressed if my preferences were changed without my knowledge/permission.

Also, members would be able to change them again.

Got that already covered mass email, notices on site has been sent with options to change back if needed now i'm not that nasty , just one of add-ons won't email users and didn't fancy waiting for dev to update/ fix it so only option which works is content options which by default was without email bad idea now lol
