XF 1.5 Manipulation of Quoted content

Whilte quoting any content the user can manipulate the original text she was quoting. I think is an issue as she is trying to change the original content of someone else. Yes, there's an anchor that takes to the original post. But, it creates confusion at first place.

Why XF doens't render the original content while it renders the quoted content?

There are valid use cases for modifying the content of quotes. Most significantly it's possible and definitely desirable to quote only parts of a post which is possible, either through "select to quote" or just removing the bits of the quote and then quoting different parts of the post and responding to each part directly.

Some people also choose to add emphasis to parts of quotes which can be important.

Can I change this behavior, I always want to show original quote.... any suggested code changes?

It's not something we'd provide support for but you could post in Development discussions or look for a developer to take on the job in Custom service and development requests.
