Not a bug Magnifying Glass Missing in Firefox

I'm sure I'm not the first one to notice this but I couldn't find a similar bug report and am wondering if anyone came up with a fix yet. The Magnifying Glass in the search bar isn't showing up in Firefox.

This is browser specific and isn't a bug.

IE also doesn't have a magnifying glass.

Indeed it's down to browsers that support <input type="search" /> (and whether they choose to have a visual distinction).

Safari has the magnifying glass, Opera doesn't.
