Hey guys...

Posting in "Off-Topic" cause i am not really sure where this form of solicitation should really go.

Basically I am looking for several people who may have different skill sets in areas I may be lacking in, I am willing to give anyone a chance to prove themselves so please don't be shy if you feel like you may be able to contribute then please do get in touch with me. (my contact details are below).

I am looking to launch my project "Expert Pixels" ASAP.. What is my project about / offering ?

Site features: (for now, more features coming and also open o suggestions / ideas)

- Free & Premium Designs for a range of different platforms (Main focus will be XF Styles tho)
- Webmaster forums
- Guides and Tutorials for all web-related stuff
- Webmaster Tools
- Open Marketplace for other members to sell there designs / PSD's / Icons / Graphics etc etc
- Many Many Many more features to come

Really trying to create a "Authority" site, a Site that is known for being of excellent help / offers nothing but the best designs.. A project I can be proud to put my name to.. Ive finally learned that you can't always run projects on your own especially larger projects like what i have planned for expertpixels.com

DUDE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You got me all wrong so very very wrong !!!!!!!!!

I hate people like that... I work my arse of.. Hands on.. do my own coding / designing etc etc... People who think they can throw money to people to do their work / ideas are setting themselves up to fail !!!!!!

I am looking to build an Authority Site that is all... I want the best of the best working with me not for me lol.

As for a "Tough Market" My designs speak for themselves and i also bring a very strong SEO background to any project i am involved with.. Ive had some of the best theme / skins sites going around for many different platforms in the past and always had a top 1-5 ranking in Google... Due to a operation on my stomach a while back i had to basically sell up all my projects just to pay the medical bills... Now my health is almost back to 100% I am back to being a 24/7 webmaster..

Sorry not being nasty... but you saying: "looks like all you want to do is host a website whilst others do the work?" could not be more incorrect if you tried !!!!

I simply am trying to establish a SOLID TEAM to work along side of me !!!

Yeah i understand.. this day and age you post your full intentions and someone with money to throw around will copy your idea and beat you to it.. So i can only post so much.. hope for some replies / PM's from interested / like-minded people and then suss them out a little before taking things any further.

Thanks for the well wishes regarding my stomach it's all good now... Just trying to play catch up now that's all.. and slowly learning that some projects do require help from others / join ventures in order to become successful.. I had a VB4 website that was for free & premium designs i put a similar post up like my OP and only got a few replies.. But one person was in the same boat as me we were both new to the premium design game and had he not helped out i may of thrown in the towel.. He is now by far the best XF designer on XF and i owe him big time for taking a chance on me years ago.

LOL that was less than a days work.. I will have to dig up some real examples another day.. that example will drive people away if anything lol.

I'm fairly sure you're mistaken.

I think he's looking for people to collaborate on style designs, etc with him. It doesn't sound like he's planning on a vborg-type site.

If your expertise is in style design I really think there's a lack of good styling tutorials/guides at present that you might be able to address. I realise some of it is an "art" but even just things like tutorials on your workflow when creating styles would help a lot of people out and prove to be very useful resources

Apologies for my impatience if i come across that way. Anyway, some really good designs there and you seem very talented and implement good colour usage in your works. looking forward in seeing what xf designs and whether some of those designs will be converted over but I'm sure they will be very popular and in demand. Very nice work.

TY... no conversions sorry those examples are rubbish !! my design skills have come a long way since them ones, and i prefer forum work anyone can slap a wp theme together days specially if the use my wp theme framework.. My best work is yet to come.. my health is back I just need some custom jobs now to cover some Premium scripts (VB / IPB / XF / etc) for EP and also help fund a real server for EP.. so sadly until i can afford a high end VPS or Dedicated server expertpixels.com may not be launched for a good month

TY again tho.. XF will be my main focus tho once i get my store-front in.

Because i have many methods of tracking / catching these ****s that like to steal my work.. Several weeks of planning went into this.. I m not stranger to having my work stolen....

I would like to keep my thread on track / on topic if possible please.. I am looking for talented people to join me for this project..
