Layout of notification preferences

I have some users confused about notifications. I'm not surprised because the prefs doesn't seem to be laid out very consistently. A nice table of how users can be alerted exists for alerts/push already exists but emails and push for conversations are in a different place. mcdvoice

So instead of:

I believe this could be more more consistent, ie there is one table where people can choose between Alert, Push and Email for all the different possible scenarios where notification may be needed. For example:

I noticed this also some time ago, but I think this is by design although I don't get it.

In preferences, shouldn't the text 'Receive push notification when a new conversation message is receive' be placed in the section below? "Receive a notification when someone .."' >>> Starts a new conversation with you: Alert / Push

Love the new push notification functionality. Is there a way to send a notification when a new conversation (involving the user, obviously) is started? Seems like that would be an event that should be supported...

No, it's not up to me to fix it - they is a suggestion for xenForo

I don't get it.

Nor me. I understand maybe the reason re: conversation push fromm a developer's POV, but it makes little sense to the end user and intuitive GUI is more important IMHO.
