She owns ~4 or more licenses, this is the first time she's installed XenForo herself. Every other time her husband or I got to do it

Sorry Kim, not to take your topic/thread way off course here lol... Just in general really, this can be like the same experience for any forum software or general software script though.
I can agree with both of you on the phpBB software. phpBB was the very FIRST forum software script I've ever used, when I first got on the internet in 1999 or 2000. Back then, it was fun and interesting to "learn it" of course, and you put so much time into tinkering with it and etc. I even made two themes for it, that's still available today I noticed. I got to "know it", to the point of being able to help others in their support forums, another thing I enjoyed and liked about it. To offer my help to others in need. I even offered my services at small prices, to install it for others too.
I enjoyed working with it, and learning it, and expanding on it. It gave me that nice feeling of accomplishment. That I did it, I made it what it was... But at same time, even though learning how to do the file edits was kinda fun too, it was kind of too much as well. After awhile, doing all those file/template edits, became a chore and I just couldn't put much more time into it. Then the spamming was overwhelming even though I had anti-spam mods for that, the hacking of it by whoever, and then of course they changed tons of things / styling deal in their phpBB3 versions. Ugh. I just threw in the towel after while cause of all that. It was fun back in the day, and that's it. I don't think I'll ever go back to it now, though lol. One of those.. "it was fun while it lasted" deals.
But yeah, I feel that way about most software scripts though, not just forum software/scripts. I like to dive in, get hands dirty, learn it or try too...and eventually get the knowledge to help others. Sorry for the novel lmao.

I have just never INSTALLED myself... this is not my first Xenforo, I have had several licenses since day 1.. minute 1 in fact.
As David pointed out.. My legion of Peons installed them for me previously! This was a first only in that I did it myself... not that it was my first Xenforo.
