XF 2.2 Jquery version

I am not an expert with code, but I saw this snippet. I am running the latest xenforo 2.2

I am thinking this could be some old code one or our developers didn't update/remove. Am I right?

Definitely not there from default XenForo. 2.2 uses jQuery 3.5.1 (also, 2.3 will not use jQuery at all... going away).
