I'm almost scared to learn why they skipped 2.0. Anyone know ?

I took a rough guess on this myself actually, and concluded they did this because 1.5 was just so popular with its longevity, so their logical reasoning was lets go to 2.5, which gives that familiar sound to it!!!

Currently, it's untested. I am aware that there are some issues with JFusion and Joomla 2.5 due to the duplication of JVersion. There may also be other issues.
