XF 2.0 Issue with upgrading website

Hey all, i was able to finally upgrade my website. But, i ran across a problem... and i hope this is the right place to ask this.

I was using a portal page addon that allowed there to be a landing page before hitting my forum board. Well, the website has died down, but we still love using the forum board so im trying to remove it and make the forums be my "landing page"

Im trying to redirect :
https://www.anomaly.ws/index.php?forums/

To just :
https://www.anomaly.ws/index.php

Again, if this is the wrong place i'm very sorry.

Update the index page route in the options to forums/.

How would i do this? Sorry never really messed with this stuff

Enter 'index page' in the ACP search (top right) and select the first result, then enter forums/ in the field and save.
