I tried it in this forum's test place and the emoji was shown as text in Last Activities. You may try it.

Not really either specifically.
Emojis are essentially text. If they exist in these snippets you will see them, we don’t do anything to make them show and there’s not much we can do to stop them from showing.
Smilies would require additional processing to render them as images. This is just something we don’t do.
Essentially the snippets are deliberately plain text (with emojis a sort of side effect of that) so that’s why this is happening.
