MG 2.2 Is it possible to replace an image in Media Gallery?

I may be missing something obvious here, but I have users who want to replace an image but leave the content around the image. We use this for book covers, and the book blurb and publication data is usually the same, but the cover image can change. I don't see a way to do this without completely deleting the image and all the content.

Is there any particular reason for this? It's bloody annoying that you can't reupload the image when you need to just make a correction to it?

Lack of this obvious function renders the media gallery almost useless for us. What a weird oversight!

Same here. I think there's a suggestion in place already to allow that. With that and the lack of an ability to put images and albums in a precise order, we stopped trying to make it fit our purposes and quit using it.
