is it possible to remove /forums/ or /threads/ from the url ?!

I don't think it's possible because what if you have a threadid of 24 and also a forumid of 24? This would conflict. But thats my quick guess :)
so what if make it like vbseo work

t24 and f24

where t and f do the job of the thread and forum controller to distinguish between them ?! is that possible ?

For the benefit that change would make (none) you'd might as well just use Route Filters to change threads to t and forums to f.

http://mysite.com/t/my-thread.123
http://mysite.com/f/my-forum.1

I'm not sure what the aim is (again, there's very little benefit to be had by changing anything here) but if you wanted the URLs to be shortened, you could disable the option to show the content title in the URL:

http://mysite.com/t/123
http://mysite.com/f/1
i know this
but the point
some who want to let there links on vbseo r same in XF also

where in vbseo the links are http://mysite.com/t1111.html - http://mysite.com/f22.html

for the .html its easy but what about the controller forums & threads

as @woei says its possible but where exactly i need to play and make my changes which files or classes
and thanks

People who want their XF links the same as VBSEO don't understand SEO.

They would be much better (and most do this) to just use redirection scripts.

From a development point of view, I don't know exactly what you need to change, or whether it's possible. I just know I'd never attempt it because it's a waste of time.
