XF 2.2 iOS pwa installation flow

I don't have an iOS device, but I would like to give instructions to my users on how to set it up.

Could someone kindly provide some screen shots of what the flow looks like?

After they install to the desktop, will the "enable push notifications" banner show up at the bottom? Or do they need to go into the user control panel to hit the enable button?

Sadly it doesn't seem to do that. You'd think that Install button would install the app, but it just starts a video that many users find a bit perplexing and almost impossible to follow.

It does everywhere but iOS. Apple doesn’t support the install flow everyone else does.

I did see somewhere in Apple’s bug reports that iOS’s flow for needing to “share” PWA to Home Screen was flagged as an issue and assigned to devs to change it. It definitely is kludgey, but maybe someday it will change.

I'm not sure there's much we can do. The instructions provided are the only way to "install" the app, and iOS provides no API to invoke anything automatically like other platforms do. The onus is kind of on them.

I’m not talking about the way it is installed on iOS which I agree is not great, I mean the way xenForo gives instructions on the installation which is not very intuitive or user friendly.
