iOS 5 is released

a. Does iMessage work at all with non-iProducts, then? I read one source last night that said it could, but I don't think it was right.
b. Is there any way to import Facebook contacts (I see that Twitter will do it, but who lists their phone number in their Twitter profile??) into Contacts and/or Messages, or do I have to awkwardly ask for people's contact information? :P lol
A) As far as I know it is Apple-to-Apple only, but I could be wrong.
B) Not that I know of.

Haven't spotted any tweet buttons yet.
Did you go into Settings > Twitter and configure an account? I didn't see a tweet button until I had an account configured, but I could have missed something.

It took all of about 20 mins to update my sons dads phone.

I'm getting a bunch of low memory errors in my usage & data stuff. Anyone else having this issue?

IIRC its because iTunes may be confusing a back up. Did your son's dad ever upgrade from say an iPhone (Original) to his current one and increase the hard drive size? I don't remember the fix, but I remember reading something about it.

What good reason could Apple have to not allow gestures on iPad 1G?
Money. Majority will invest in the next model. Plain and simple as that.

What you got is awesome, and it's "outdated" as soon as the next update is out.

And they do that on purpose, because it makes them money.

Who cares about gestures. 1st Gen ipad works just fine.

Yeah, but I got kinda used to it using the beta :P

OK so I went to Sprint intent on coming home with an iPhone 4.
Somehow, I came home on the waiting list for a white 4s.

I think it was when I asked Siri if she was a smart phone, and she answered, "Wait, there are other smartphones??"

I'm getting a phone that is more of a smartass than me. Yeah, that did it.

I can quite easily break Safari under iOS 5, simply load a site (like this) over >3 browser pages.
App Crash (back to home screen) reported into Apple. The log is freaking huge!
