Interested in purchasing a license.

I for one am disappointed with vB at its current state, as well with iB.

I just have two questions however before I purchase:

1. When my license expires, will there be a way to renew it?

2. Will the current lawsuits be affecting in any major way with the software itself?

A license is for life, only updates and support need to be purchased every 12 months.

Impossible to comment on the latter, no-one knows what will happen in the future.

If you buy it, you can run it without having to renew it. Renewal (for support, etc) allows you to get newer versions after the expiry date. Permission to run the instance itself doesn't expire it.

How the lawsuits affect the company, the customers, etc I don't know.
