Installing XenForo

Doubt, I'll be getting an answer as someone else a month in a half ago had the same problem with vBulletin 4.2.1 (I have 4.2.2) and he didn't receive an answer for a fix.

Should I just unstall his add-on?

While I have you here:

Should I close Vbulletin prior to import?
Should I close XenForo prior to import?
Should I close both prior to import?

Thank you.

Uninstalling may be the best option if the developer isn't responding.

When importing, you don't want either database being written to, so closing both is prudent.

Ok, my import is done. I've rebuilt the search engine. I've done the redirection.

Now

Rename my vbulletin /forums to say /OLDforums and rename the Xenforo directory to /forums

Please advise.

Thank you!

How can I set it up so me, Admin, can see board while closed to everyone else?

I'm getting the Sorry, we're currently unavailable. Please check back later. on my browser.

Thanks!

Check the node/user group/user permissions.
Node visibility. Whether it is set as a private node.

Importing requires a lot of checking and setting up to ensure everything is correct.
