Previously was using www.gothamhoops.com/forum as the main site for my xenforo account. Just bought the domain www.collegehoopschat.com and upgraded xenforo onto that site. How do I transfer all of my posts onto the new site? Thanks!

Both of your domains appear to be hosted on the same server so you don't need to do a full server move. Just copy the forum files to the new domain and leave the library/config.php file pointing to the same database. Then update the board URL in the Admin CP:
Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> Basic Board Information -> Board URL
If the two sites were on separate servers then you would need to do a full move which is a backup + restore from the old server to the new one:

All of them. For example, if your forum is installed at yoursite.com/forum/ then you would copy the entire forum/ directory.
I've been trying to work this out but my posts aren't transferring still
The posts are stored in the database and should be preserved as long as the library/config.php file points to the same database as before.
I found the config.php file but nothing altered when I dragged it to the new directory
